EDGE DC Unveils its Next Roadmap at International Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2023
JAKARTA, 15 MARCH 2023 – Global technology media company W.Media is delighted to announce EDGE DC as one of its valued sponsors at the annual Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2023 held in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 11th of May 2023. The largest convention in Southeast Asia will be attended by over 1,300 IT and data center professionals, and W.Media has drawn up a strong agenda of keynote speeches and discussions by industry veterans to deliberate the future of data centers in Indonesia.
A keynote setting out the key trends that impact data centers and cloud companies in Indonesia will kick off a full day’s line-up of engaging and fruitful discussions, after an opening by W.Media’s Head of Singapore and Indonesia, Sam Narby. Breakthrough technologies in the data center industry that guide the deployment of energy, manpower, and cybersecurity will also be raised during the conference. Notable industry players in colocation, cloud and data centers will be in attendance and some will present their latest innovations at their own booths on the event floor. The conference will be wrapped up with networking drinks and intimate sharing sessions among top industry players.
EDGE DC’s CEO, Stephanus Oscar will also be presenting his view on a panel with the topic ‘How will Indonesian colocation and cloud drive digital transformation?’. “The growth opportunities in Indonesia are vast and more data center presences in Indonesia plays an important role to speed up the digital transformation progress within the country. In the near future we will see more adoptions in data centers and cloud, but how the process can be done in a well managed environment without sacrificing end-users experience will be the main problem.” says Stephanus Oscar. In this event, EDGE DC will also reveal its progress for their next data center facility in downtown Jakarta – EDGE2.
W.Media’s annual convention seeks to gather the world’s cream in the data center and cloud industry. Held at over 20 locations globally, top-level business executives with expertise in IT and data center fields converge at a W.Media event to set the direction for advancements within the industry, on top of being the first to gain market insights and stay ahead of the curve in rapid market changes. Over 100 renowned service providers and end-users in the region form the audience at W.Media’s conventions, creating an unrivaled ecosystem of stakeholders across all its communities worldwide.
“With revenue in the local data center market projected to reach US$3.1 billion in 2023, Indonesia is poised for continued growth as the physical and digital infrastructure continues to provide opportunities for both local and global businesses. The population size and land space for renewable energy, as well as legislation, and the strategic location of Indonesia all lead to signs of further growth and innovation and facilitated collaboration across the region,” says Sam Narby.
