Jakarta, 3 Oktober 2025 – As part of the Digital Edge company, EDGE DC and Indonet reaffirm their commitment to environmental sustainability through a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Mangrove Planting (4,500 seedlings), Coral Planting, and Beach Clean-Up at Pulau Tidung Kecil, one of Indonesia’s treasured coastal ecosystems.
As climate change continues to accelerate, coastal areas face increasing risks such as erosion, flooding, and habitat loss. Mangroves play a vital role in mitigating these effects by acting as natural barriers, absorbing carbon, and providing essential habitats for diverse marine species. Coral planting also contributes to restoring marine biodiversity and protecting underwater ecosystems that are increasingly threatened by rising temperatures and pollution.
Through this collaborative initiative, we’re not only contribute to the restoration of Indonesia’s marine ecosystems but also demonstrate their alignment with Digital Edge’s regional sustainability goals. Integrating environmental awareness and responsibility into every aspect of business operations.
In addition to mangrove and coral planting, participants also joined a beach clean-up activity, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining coastal cleanliness and preventing marine waste from harming ocean life.
This initiative reflects our shared vision to grow as responsible digital infrastructure providers contributing not only to Indonesia’s digital transformation but also to environmental and community well-being.
